RESTAURANT ASIA SINGAPORE 2021

MICE Events Restaurant Asia, Café Asia, Sweets & Bakes Asia 2021

Singapore, 12 November 2021    The COVID-19 pandemic has been a mammoth challenge for many businesses including the F&B industry especially in the areas of operations, supply chain, manpower, and profitability.

To address these challenges, Conference & Exhibition Management Services (CEMS), a regional company in Meeting, Incentive, Convention and Exhibition (MICE) headquartered in Singapore is happy to announce the return of three of its long established mega platforms in November and December. These are namely, the cluster of Restaurant Asia 2021 (RA 2021), International Coffee & Tea Asia 2021 (ICTA 2021) which incorporates the popular Café Asia and Sweets & Bakes Asia 2021, the Architecture & Building Services 2021 (ABS 2021) series for the built environment industry which incorporates 7 shows under its umbrella and the Singapore International Jewelry Expo 2021 (SIJE 2021).

The 2nd Restaurant Asia show and the 8th International Coffee & Tea Asia series will kickstart the line-up of shows which will test the system set in place for MICE events in Singapore during the endemic phase – ranging from bringing back visitors to an onsite event in a safe environment and complemented by a hybrid event for international exhibitors and visitors who have yet to be able to travel to Singapore. CEMS’ hybrid show format comprises physical and virtual shows.

This Wednesday, 18 November; business owners and key players from the F&B, coffee & tea, and bakery industries will come together at the hybrid shows – the 2nd Restaurant Asia 2021 held in conjunction with the 8th International Coffee & Tea (ICT) Asia 2021. These shows will mark their much-anticipated return to foster new collaborations, explore opportunities, learn best practices, present thought leadership forums, and present the latest trends and developments to trade professionals and members of the public. The unique cluster of these shows will offer a one-stop convenient sourcing hub for the F&B, coffee, tea, and bakery industries.

Some 120 exhibitors/brands from 13 countries will participate at the show this year. Indonesia as a country partner with its own pavilion will showcase its strength as an important supply chain for ingredients for the F&B, coffee and tea industries. The Malaysian state of Sarawak, an important new source of food supplies, will also be setting up a pavilion at the show. Visitors to the show will also be greeted by a bevy of roving smart robots, a crucial innovation in today’s F&B scene. These robots will be tasked with responsibilities such as air purification, and provide general services to visitors and exhibitors.

The shows will also serve as a platform of knowledge and technical know-how to all visitors and conference delegates that includes invaluable insights on productivity, capability development and leveraging on relevant technologies to future-proof the F&B business, fronted by prominent business leaders in the F&B, coffee, and tea industries:
