Guests are invited to a journey of flavors at Nera Lounge, Umasa, and Leros with a selection of menus and innovative dishes, from the vibrant Rantang Peranakan Tionghoa to the lavish Chinese New Year Buffet and the elegant Chinese Delights Afternoon Tea.
Umasa: A Fusion of Peranakan and Indonesian Flavors At Umasa, the Rantang Peranakan Tionghoa, available from 15 January to 5 February 2025 between 6 PM to 10 PM, invites diners to a journey through Indonesia’s rich history of Chinese influence, dating back to the 7th century. This specially curated menu artfully blends the distinctive ingredients of Peranakan and Indonesian flavors, inviting guests to share comforting and nostalgic dishes, the menu evokes a sense of warmth and connection, rooted deeply in tradition.
Presented in a rantang, a traditional tiered container that symbolizes the warmth of familial connections—the curated menu unfolds a symphony of savory and sweet indulgences. The Angkringan Platter offers savory delights like golden Onde-onde, delicate Lumpia, and Tahu, alongside signature dishes such as Soto Ayam, Ikan Tahu Tausi, and Babi Ketcap. For dessert, guests enjoy the rich Lapis Legit and classic Kuah Ronde, a sweet tribute to cherished traditions.
Leros: Opulent Chinese New Year Feast Inspired by the legendary Loke Nggerang, celebrated for her beauty and grace in regional folklore, Leros offers an all-day dining experience blending Eastern and Western influences. The buffet- style dining presents a diverse menu, reflecting tradition and innovation, ranging from leisurely breakfasts to evening feasts.
On 28 January 2025, Leros presents a lavish Chinese New Year Feast from 6 PM to 9 PM, showcasing a sumptuous array of Chinese delicacies and festive favorites. Guests can indulge in the vibrant Yu Sheng, symbolizing prosperity, crafted with smoked tuna, pomelo, and wonton crisps, alongside decadent roast specialties like crispy Pork Crackling and succulent Peking Duck.
The feast also features an enticing selection of smoky Shaokao skewers, Mongolian BBQ, and an array of desserts, including Baobing shaved ice and house-made gelato, all set in an elegant and welcoming atmosphere perfect for celebrating with loved ones.
Nera Lounge: Delightful Chinese New Year Afternoon Tea
Nera Lounge derives its name from the Manggarai word for "red sky," a poetic tribute to the vibrant hues of Labuan Bajo’s evening skies. This elegant lounge features expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that offer stunning views of the breathtaking landscape where traditional phinisi boats drift gracefully on the glistening ocean. From 15 January to 31 January 2025, guests can enjoy elegant Chinese Delights Afternoon Tea from 3 PM to 5 PM. A selection of sweet and savory treats inspired by Chinese flavors such as Mandarin Cake and Crab Meat Wonton are served with aromatic teas.
