July 2023 – Aman, the preeminent hospitality and lifestyle brand renowned for its collection of ultra-luxury hotels and branded residences, announced the appointment of Ben Trodd as Chief Operating Officer, effective Tuesday 11 July, 2023.

A seasoned professional in the hospitality industry, Ben brings over 25 years of experience to the position. In his role, Ben will oversee all facets of Aman’s intricate hotel and resort operations, to deliver the brand’s vision and strategy, working closely with Chairman and CEO, Vlad Doronin, whilst ensuring the unique characteristics and exceptional levels of service, for which the distinguished collection is recognised, are retained.
Ben's extensive expertise as the Senior Vice President, Sales & Hotel Marketing at Four Seasons from 2019 saw him implement data and analysis-driven marketing initiatives to maximise brand value, optimising revenue generation, reducing costs, and enhancing customer acquisition and retention strategies.
Having previously served as Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Beverly Wilshire, a Four Seasons Hotel, Ben oversaw nine additional Four Seasons properties.
Prior to that, he played a crucial role in opening the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences in Seattle, WA, Palo Alto, CA, and leading operations for the brand in Los Angeles and Hampshire, United Kingdom.
With his deep understanding of global markets, Ben's operational and business development experience extends to key regions worldwide, including the Middle East and Asia Pacific. His international perspective holds Ben in good stead to oversee Aman’s continued expansion.
Assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer, Ben Trodd will be based at Aman's Swiss Office and will report directly to Vlad Doronin. Expressing his enthusiasm for joining Aman, Trodd shares: "Aman is a brand that I have long admired and respected.

Aman was founded in 1988 with the vision of building a collection of intimate retreats with the unassuming, warm hospitality of a gracious private home.
